I've been coming to this subway location for years. The owner/manager is really nice and attentive. The sandwich makers have always been great as well. The restaurant is always clean and the hours are great. My only real gripe is the parking lot, it's difficult to get out during busy times, especially if you're going towards McHenry. I've also noticed that all subways seem to be stingy with the vegetables now, especially the onions and peppers. I guess I should just ask for more. If you're ever in that area I suggest parting this place a visit. The fast food restaurants nearby aren't the best, but subway definitely has them all beat.
Got here at around 8pm on a Saturday. It was pretty empty. I think it was the owner that helped me out. She was really nice. I saw her change gloves as she was handling other things besides my sandwich. (I know she's supposed to but how many actually do?) So that was nice to see. I had 4 sandwhiches to be made and she made them fast and to what I wanted and they were nice and full. I got soup as well and she even offered to make it hotter so it wouldn't get cold by the time I got home. She packaged it with a napkin underneath so it wouldn't burn me. (Its the little things) I like this location. It seems a lot cleaner than the rest. And the workers actually look happy
I went in for a wrap and the meat was nice and hot. Veggies fresh and crunchy. The staff is very friendly.
